When we travel we favor the Hilton brand and in the past we’ve mostly stayed at the Hampton Inns. But we recently found another favorite during our trip to Beaufort, South Carolina at the Tru Hotel by Hilton. The rooms were quite modern and stylish. Unlike the Hampton Inns, Tru does not offer suites or efficiencies, but they do have king or double queen rooms with a mini fridge. The rooms were immaculate with very comfortable beds, great showers and smart TV's. Rather than a pool, they had a nice game area equipped with a pool table and a large assortment of board games. And we cannot forget the free hot continental breakfast including their new state of the art automatic pancake making machine. Just add your favorite toppings and enjoy. Come visit the Tru Hotel in beautiful Beaufort and get a solid dose of southern hospitality from their friendly, courteous and accommodating staff. There’s also a great sandwich shop right next door where you can eat in or take out for a picnic lunch when you’re out and about in the town. We “truly” enjoyed our stay!
