For 50 years, DiPaolo’s has been serving the finest gourmet Italian fare—from the freshest seafood to the most tender, juicy steaks you'll ever taste. Although we've been reviewing restaurants for twenty years, we only recently discovered this hidden gem right in our own backyard. Start your meal with their homemade Limoncello cocktail and prepare to be amazed by their Marsala. We ordered the veal topped with crabmeat, and it was absolutely divine—the best Marsala we’ve ever had, hands down. It came with tricolored carrots and garlic-rosemary mashed potatoes, a perfect complement to the dish. Seafood lovers, take note: their crab cakes contain zero filler and are the best we’ve had in New Jersey—tied for first place with the finest crab cakes we've ever tried in Maryland, which says a lot. You can order them as a meal, an add-on, or an appetizer. Every table begins with an antipasto plate, offering fresh bread, cheese, olives, peppers, and an assortment of vegetables, including fried zucchini. We also ordered the calamari, another win in our book! If you’re in the mood for soup, don’t miss the lobster bisque—it’s served in a generously filled bread bowl with large chunks of lobster meat, making it perfect for sharing or enjoying as a meal on its own. A salad course is included with every meal, and we tried both the strawberry spinach salad and the wedge salad—each bursting with freshness and the perfect blend of ingredients. By the time our meal was over, we had two full doggy bags so we could save room for their homemade desserts. The gelato and tiramisu were incredible—the best gelato we’ve ever had. To top it all off, the service and ambiance were amazing. Everything is made fresh from scratch, infused with generations of love and tradition from the DiPaolo family.
