Millville Army Field Museum

The Millville Army Air Field Museum is dedicated to preserving the World War II aviation history of "America's First Defense Airport," established by the U.S. War Department in 1941. The Army Air Corps Base served as a gunnery training site and flight school for P-47 Thunderbolt pursuit and fighter planes. During its four-year operation, over 10,000 men and women served at the Millville Army Air Field, and 1,500 pilots were trained here. Beyond its commitment to preserving aviation history, the Museum honors the contributions of veterans, celebrates all facets of American aviation, and educates visitors through its impressive collection of historic artifacts and documentation. Admission to the Museum is free, though donations are greatly appreciated. Each year, the Museum hosts the popular Millville Wheels & Wings Airshow, drawing enthusiasts from near and far.
