Wildwood Aviation Museum

The old Wildwood Naval Air Station has been transformed into a museum filled with interactive exhibits, offering something for visitors of all ages. The museum features aircraft from most branches of the military, and some are even open for visitors to climb into the cockpit. Among the collection are helicopters from various conflicts, including the iconic M*A*S*H chopper from the Korean War and helicopters from the Vietnam War era. In addition to the aircraft, the museum showcases news articles, books, and exhibits dedicated to honoring the brave individuals who were lost in service. Visitors can climb a replica control tower, similar to the one at nearby Bader Field, and delve into the history of early military aviation at the Naval Air Station. It’s an experience the whole family can enjoy, offering a blend of fun and education, all brought to life by their amazing staff.
