The USS New Jersey, one of the largest battleships ever built, was launched on December 7, 1942. She proudly served in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, and as part of President Reagan's 600-ship Navy. Her final voyage took place on Veteran's Day in 1999, arriving at the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard along the Delaware River near the Camden Waterfront.Now, this highly decorated vessel stands as a floating museum, bringing history to life. Visitors can explore the iconic Iowa-class ship on a two-hour guided tour.
