1785 Farm Dog
I had the pleasure of meeting the folks from 1785 Farm Dog at the county fair, and wow—what a delicious discovery! Their hot dogs are made with beef fresh from their own farm, and you can taste the difference. While most hot dogs follow a 1:8 ratio (1 lb per 8 dogs), theirs are a meatier 1:6—juicy, rich, and super satisfying. The sides were just as impressive: the chilli, onion and sauerkraut were a standout—zingy, tangy, and perfectly crisp. And don’t even get me started on their homemade lemonade—refreshing, with just the right balance of sweet and tart. The team was warm, welcoming, and truly treated everyone like family. I can’t wait to visit their Medford restaurant soon to try their potato, tacos, waffles and ice cream —if the fair was this good, I can only imagine the full menu! Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates farm-to-table quality with a friendly, down-to-earth staff.
