College Park Aviation Museum

The College Park Aviation Museum in College Park, Maryland, is located on the grounds of the world’s oldest continuously operating airport. The airfield was established in 1909, when Wilbur Wright arrived to train the first military aviators, marking the beginning of a long legacy of aviation milestones. The museum’s galleries chronicle the airport’s historic significance, featuring both authentic and reproduction aircraft, including a 1911 Wright B and a 1918 Curtiss “Jenny”. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on and interactive exhibits, making it a dynamic destination for families and aviation enthusiasts alike.
