Outback Kayak, located just minutes from the North Woodstock exit off Interstate 93, offers a fantastic lineup of outdoor summer activities including ATV rides, paintball, and kayaking. In the winter, guests can enjoy snowmobiling either on their 80-acre property or on guided excursions into the Mount Washington area. This summer, my daughter and I had a wonderful time on a 2-hour guided kayak trip down the Pemi River with “Kelly’s Heroes.” Owner Kelly and her team—affectionately called her heroes—are fantastic with children (she even uses them for her own kids). As a father of a 5-year-old, I felt completely safe and comfortable sharing the kayak with my daughter. For those seeking a more independent adventure, Outback Kayak also offers 4-hour self-guided trips down the Pemi, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.
