Port Discovery Children's Museum

Did you know that Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is home to one of the Top 5 children’s museums in the U.S., according to Child Magazine (2002)? The Port Discovery Children’s Museum offers three floors of interactive, educational fun designed for children ages 2 to 10. Kids can cross the Nile River and journey through ancient Egypt in search of the Pharaoh’s tomb, crawl through a giant kitchen sink, and explore a wacky mystery house to solve the case of a missing family. They can climb a three-story urban treehouse, complete with a zip line and slide, or unleash their creativity in the Studio Workshop art studio. Younger visitors will love story time in the Oasis, picking vegetables in The Farm, pretending to cook and serve food in a 1950s-style diner, and splashing around in the Wonders of Water exhibit, which features Plumber’s Park, an interactive water table, bubble hoop, and block dock.
