Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center

Wheaton Arts is one of New Jersey's most cherished cultural landmarks. Spanning 65 wooded New Jersey, it is home to the renowned Museum of American Glass, which boasts one of the most extensive collections of American glass in the world. The Center provides an exceptional opportunity for personal interaction with professional artists in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. At one of the nation's first amphitheater-style hot glass studios, skilled artists demonstrate a variety of glassmaking techniques daily. Additionally, visitors can enjoy demonstrations of pottery, flameworking, and woodcarving throughout the day. The Down Jersey Folklife Center features special exhibits, programs, and performances highlighting the culture and traditions of prominent heritage communities that have settled in southern New Jersey. Visitors can also explore the award-winning museum stores, which offer a unique and enjoyable shopping experience. Admission is free for those who wish to shop or stroll the grounds, except during special outdoor events.
