HSoB: USGCS: Taney

Located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the former Baltimore Maritime Museum and the USS Constellation Museum have now combined to form the Historic Ships in Baltimore, offering visitors access to five remarkable attractions: the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, the Lightship Chesapeake, the USS Torsk, the USCGC Taney, and the USS Constellation. These historic landmarks are proudly preserved and open to the public, each offering a unique glimpse into America’s maritime heritage. Be sure to include the Maritime Museum in your itinerary when visiting the Inner Harbor—it’s a must-see destination. The museum also features hands-on activities and guided tours of the sloop-of-war USS Constellation, the last all-sail wooden warship built by the U.S. Navy. Kids and adults alike will enjoy climbing aboard the vessels and taking in the views of the bay from atop the lighthouse. It’s educational family fun at its finest.
