Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

The Delaware Museum of Nature and Science is one of the region’s fastest-growing educational and cultural attractions. The museum inspires curiosity and fosters a deeper understanding of the natural world, helping to cultivate a society that respects and values our planet. In addition to its permanent exhibits—featuring dinosaurs, birds, mammals, shells, and other scientific collections—the museum hosts up to three traveling exhibitions each year. The dynamic entrance showcases a life-sized model of a giant squid, and visitors can explore a state-of-the-art exhibition gallery, the Coral Reef Canteen, an expanded Museum Store, and more. The museum also offers a popular summer camp for children ages 4–12, giving them the opportunity to explore the wonders of nature up close through engaging, hands-on experiences. We highly recommend a visit to the Delaware Museum of Natural History—it’s a place where learning comes alive and curiosity is always welcome.
