Mayflower II
Mayflower II
In 1957, a full-scale replica of the Mayflower—the ship that carried the Pilgrims to Plymouth Rock in 1620—sailed from England to Massachusetts, faithfully retracing the original voyage as it would have occurred in the 17th century. Today, the Mayflower II serves as both a working vessel and a historical attraction, offering visitors a vivid and authentic glimpse into life aboard the ship during the Pilgrims’ journey to the New World. Operated by Plimoth Patuxet Museums (formerly Plymouth Plantation), the Mayflower II features costumed interpreters and detailed exhibits that bring the Pilgrims’ story to life. While you can purchase a single ticket for the Mayflower II, we highly recommend the dual ticket, which includes admission to Plimoth Patuxet, located just two miles away. Together, these two sites provide one of the most immersive and educational historical experiences Massachusetts has to offer.
