The Havre de Grace Decoy Museum houses one of the finest collections of working and decorative Chesapeake Bay decoys ever assembled. Through tours, lectures, demonstrations, special events, and a dynamic series of exhibits, the museum proudly shares the heritage of Upper Bay decoy making with a national audience. Featuring over 1,200 decoys and decorative carvings, the museum offers a unique opportunity to appreciate this distinctive American folk art in a stunning waterfront setting. Its four permanent exhibits showcase the remarkable diversity of carving styles, hunting techniques, and regional traditions. Rotating temporary exhibits allow visitors to explore the work of individual carvers or delve into the finer details of decoy artistry. Each year, the Decoy Museum hosts a vibrant calendar of events that attracts tens of thousands of collectors and enthusiasts from across the country.
