Sal's by Victor
Sal's by Victor
Victor, one of the elite chefs of the 2000 and 2002 Olympic Games, has proudly kept the Sal’s tradition of Italian cuisine alive in Williamsburg for the past 16 years. For me, the first sign of a great pizzeria is whether they use Grande brand cheese—and of course, Victor does. It’s the quality ingredients that make his pies, stuffed pastas, and parmesan dishes so exceptional, which is why I highly recommend either the Chef Sampler or Victor’s Sampler. My husband is a fan of a good Marsala dish, and their veal or chicken Marsala is definitely a winner. If you’re a seafood lover, don’t miss the Seafood Thermador—rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Make sure to save room for dessert. They offer Cheesecake Factory cheesecake alongside a tempting selection of imported Bindi desserts, including the Chocolate Truffle and the Bomba. But just like the line from The Godfather—“Leave the gun, take the cannoli”—we say take the cannoli, because they’re that good. Sal’s by Victor is now back at its original location, just ¼ mile east of the 60 Bypass on Route 162. Neither rain, snow, nor fire can stop Victor from bringing amazing New York-style Italian cuisine to Williamsburg.
