Waller Mill Park
Waller Mill Park
Waller Mill Park, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, features a 286-acre lake open for fishing, boating, pedal boating, canoeing, and kayaking, with a tunnel connecting the upper and lower sections of the lake for added exploration. Nestled among the trees are numerous picnic tables, four shelters, play fields, and playground equipment, creating a scenic and family-friendly picnic area. The shelters can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 150 people, making them ideal for gatherings and events. The park’s hiking trails offer a picturesque walk with views of both water and woodlands, while a two-mile asphalt bike trail provides a scenic connection between Mooretown and Rochambeau Roads. A short hike along this trail leads to the Lookout Tower, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. To preserve the park’s natural beauty, feeding wildlife is prohibited. The Waller Mill Dog Park, a joint venture between the City of Williamsburg and James City County, adds another layer of community engagement and outdoor enjoyment.
