Northlandz‎

“New Jersey and You, Perfect Together” is proudly written on the wall of Northlandz by former Governor Tom Kean—and I couldn’t agree more. This extraordinary attraction stands out as the crown jewel of the Skylands region. Created by Bruce Williams, who spent four years laying down an astonishing 40,000 feet of model railroad track, Northlandz is a marvel of imagination and craftsmanship. Inside the vast building complex, visitors are treated to spectacular 3½-story mountains and intricately detailed model trains that wind through breathtaking landscapes. The experience doesn’t stop there—other exhibits feature collections of dolls, toys, and artwork that add to the museum’s charm. Bruce Williams is also a talented organist, and at the “American Music Hall,” he showcases his mastery by performing on five different organs. To top it all off, an outdoor train ride offers a delightful finale to your visit. Located in Flemington, NJ along Route 202 North, Northlandz is surrounded by excellent restaurants and hotels, including the nearby Hampton Inn. Whether you're planning a quick weekend escape or a full family vacation, Northlandz is a must-see destination that promises wonder, nostalgia, and fun for all ages.
