The new multimillion-dollar Museum and Visitor Center at Gettysburg National Military Park should be your first stop when visiting Gettysburg. The exhibits cover key moments such as the events leading up to the war, the Southern states’ secession from the Union, Lincoln’s election, and the John Brown raid at Harpers Ferry.
