Gettysburg Battlefield Tour Cent.

The Gettysburg Battlefield Tour Center is the perfect starting point for a guided journey through historic Gettysburg. They offer two types of tours: one aboard an enclosed bus led by a National Park interpreter, and another on a double-decker bus featuring an audio tour. The latter is a bit more budget-friendly and was a hit with the kids—plus, the driver added personal commentary and was happy to answer questions along the way. The tour begins with a ride through the northern section of Gettysburg National Military Park, covering the first day of battle. After a brief intermission or pit stop, you continue through the southern battlefield, reliving the second day of combat. Then comes the highlight for many—the Battle of Little Round Top—where you can stretch your legs and take in the dramatic terrain before heading to the National Cemetery and the new Visitor Center. The tour concludes with a powerful presentation of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, leaving visitors with a deep sense of the site’s historical significance. We strongly recommend making this tour your first stop in Gettysburg—it provides a solid foundation and meaningful context for everything else you’ll explore during your visit.
