Hershey Trolley Works
Hershey Trolley Works
We’ve taken many trolley tours over the years, but Hershey Trolley Works truly opened our eyes to the incredible legacy of Milton Hershey—his vision for the community and his lifelong commitment to underprivileged children. The trolley departs from Hershey’s Chocolate World, which serves as the official visitor center of The Hershey Company (formerly Hershey Chocolate). While Chocolate World is not owned by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, it shares the space and offers free parking for tour guests. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing rich insights into the history of the town, its entertainment legacy, and the inspiring story of the Milton Hershey School. The tour winds through Hershey’s charming streets and school campus, and along the way, you’re treated to sweet surprises—a delightful touch that adds to the experience. One tip: if you're traveling with young children, consider saving the candy until after the ride—unless you're ready for some extra-energized little passengers! As for my chocoholic husband, he was absolutely in heaven.
