Delaware State Police Museum

Delaware State Police Museum

The Delaware State Police take great pride in their heritage and are eager to share it with the public through a new, state-of-the-art museum and educational facility. Operated as a separate entity from the Division of the Delaware State Police, the museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about law enforcement practices, substance abuse prevention, highway safety initiatives, and a wide range of other important topics—all presented by retired troopers and specially trained active-duty officers. Guests can explore the evolution of policing by viewing historic patrol cars and motorcycles, sitting inside a modern police vehicle, and even meeting Trooper Dan, a favorite among younger visitors. The museum provides an engaging look at both the past and present of law enforcement in Delaware. A deeply meaningful feature of the museum is its memorial, honoring the troopers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It stands as a solemn tribute and a reminder of the courage and dedication of those who serve.
