Wright Museum

The Wright Museum is the best WWII museum we've seen. They have a terrific working ordinance exhibit as well as many exhibits for the different branches of the military from the era. They also have a hands on exhibit that compares past verses present technology. One of our favorite parts of the museum was the time tunnel. It was something we’ve never seen done before quite like it. As you progress, each room depicts a year of the war and contains memorabilia both overseas and the home front. The fascinating items included are Life magazine covers and video interactive displays of news clips, music, and pictures. And new for 2012 they plan on having a track outside where they will drive an authentic tank through the woods to expereince just how it would have been during the war.
