Museum of the American Revolution

One of my favorite places to travel is American history places but being so close to Philadelphia the revolution and the birth of our country fascinates me. Over three years it took me to visit many battlefields Independence Hall and other museums pertaining to the revolution. This is a great starting point to understand how our nation declared ourselves from the British rule of the signing of the Declaration of Independence period which then later brought on the American Revolution starting in Concord Massachusetts. The museum focuses and themed on from Concord to your account and all the battles in between and they do a great job illustrating this with Hands-On Activities Maps Hi-Tech exhibits and 4D battle room. But what's makes these exhibits oppressive are the most knowledgeable staff that I've ever seen in many of our historical places. I was extremely impressed with their mock ship and their historian was able to keep the attention of a fifth grader and a third grader for about 15 minutes. This should be your starting point to get introduced into the American Revolution and our birth of our country then spread out to the Independence Hall or Valley Forge or Trenton or you really want to take a trip Concord or Yorktown this will be one of the best experience for American history.
