In the quaint village of Glen is the friendliest kid attraction in the White Mountains. Story Land is a family run organization that prides themselves on family budgets and family convenience. The rides are very safe and the park is extremely clean and well-laid out. Their staff from Mother Goose to the ride engineers gives you the New Hampshire courtesy that will have you returning again and again. They have many different rides that are super for the under 8 crowd. We had a ball in the “Loopy Lab.” After playing they have an interactive show comparable to what you would see with a mouse in Florida, but without breaking the bank. They also allow picnic lunches, but both their food and gift shops have very reasonable prices. Another thing we really like was the little extra things that they offer for free, such as a kennel for the pooches, a bathroom for kids of all ages and a mommy and baby station for napping and feeding little ones. Story Land is a big reason why generations of families return to the White Mountains to vacation in the summer.
