Maurice River Cruises

Review By Friendly Fun Trips ~FFTApp.com
Who would've thought that Millville would become a great tourist attraction. For the last 10 years downtown Millville has really cleaned up and right in the center of town the Maurice River runs through it. Believe me when I tell you that Millville is filled with beautiful scenery, but you're not going to see it on any of the three state routes (47, 55, or 49) or on the county roads to the airport or the race track. The only way you're going to see it is by boat. At the public dock Captain Dave offers cruises down the Maurice River. He also volunteers at the Historical Society so his tour includes a great factual history of the area and how the river was very important to the development of the town. All you need is to go about a half a mile down river to really see how beautiful Millville is. Ever since the ban of DDT, the osprey and bald eagles have repopulated and their habitats are all visable on the cruise. It's so beautiful to see the birds and the landscape of the river. The cost is extremely reasonable, especially for kids and senior citizens. So bring your binoculars or borrow theirs and allow Captain Dave and his amazing staff to take you for a nice trip down the Maurice River.
