There's more than just oysters and pizza in Mystic Connecticut. Two words that come to mind when I think of this little ice cream place and cafe at the west side of the drawbridge are fresh and homemade. It was Easter Sunday when we visited and most places in Mystic we're closed when we walked into the cafe. What amazing food we discovered. Their sandwiches were fresh and creative. We loved the roast beef, turkey, the green machine and Putin. Then we tried their other claim to fame - the ice cream. They home make all their flavors making it one of the best ice cream places in Connecticut. With their great and friendly staff and historic ambiance, the Drawbridge is a top place to take your kids, family and friends.
