Strurbridge Village

Come back to a time in-between the American Revolution and the Civil War at historic Sturbridge Village. Experience what life was life in this New England village. Visit the many working buildings like the print shop, black smith and tin smith as well as the amazing Carding Mill that shows how wool was combed into workable yarn, the Gristmill that shows how grains and corn were ground into meal and the Sawmill that shows how cut trees were manufactured into planks of lumber. All demonstrations are authentic and done by trained and experienced staff. Sturbridge Village has over 30 different exhibits, attractions and activities, many of which are great for the children as well. When you visit central Massachusetts be sure to include the village in your plans.
