Connecticut Science Center

Musuem
From I 91 you can get a great view of the Connecticut Science Museum or from the fifth floor of the museum you can get a great view of the Connecticut River or I 91. But there's so much more than just a great view - there's three amazing floors of over 5 hours of fun and education. The top floor teaches about conserving energy and using green energy rather than fossil fuels. You will also explore natural and geological features of Connecticut including dinosaurs that includes an amazing seasonal roof garden. Going down to the 5th floor are the body and health exhibits which have really great hands on activities and includes a 3D multi view of every major system in the body from the skeletal, muscular, digestive, nervous and more. Also on this floor is the space and robotics exhibits as well as many Rube Goldberg projects. They have a cool section where you can sit back in a comfortable chair and manipulate the controls to explore the different parts of of the galaxy. Moving down to the fourth floor is where they host some really unique travel exhibits as well as the physics lab where they showcase different types of contraptions, my favorite being the automatic basketball shooter and the square wheeled peg car. The second and third floors are for administration and the 1st floor is for ticket sales as well as the IMAX theater and 7 and under kid zone. It's also where we found the Subway sandwich shop.
Subway
The food was what we could expect like at any other subway shop and the atmosphere was extremely clean, but we were pleasantly surprised to see that the prices were at their same reasonable regular rates. We were also impressed with the staff at the Subway. If you're in Hartford, you do not have to pay admission to the Science Center to come and eat at the Subway restaurant inside their building.
