Daily Tours
Our way to fully experience Washington DC is by taking a full day tour with Old Town Trolley. Their very informative and convenient tour includes 2 loops. One takes you north to the National Cathedral, Georgetown, Embassy row and much more. The other goes through downtown to the Smithsonian museums and then hits all the monuments and memorials. What's terrific about the tour is that while on the trolley you are educated about the history and happenings of the area and also you can get on and off the trolley at any other their stops to allow you to visit the sites at your own pace. We recommend you pack a picnic lunch and eat at one of the many parks in town or dine at any of the restaurants or snack shops along the route. Old Town Trolley is a great way to get around the city and the best thing about is are the engineers/tour guides who are very personable and a wealth of knowledge, especially Duke and Uncle Dave with who we had the pleasure of riding. Old Town also offers a connector shuttle to Arlington Cemetery that leaves from the Lincoln Memorial. We really enjoyed our day with Old Town Trolley.
Moon Light Tours
They also has to other tours run at night which is called the new moon light memoral tours which they stop at most monuments and keep going this is not an ongoing loop like the first war the last war that were looking forward to is a duct work which they go from place to place without stopping WGN to Potomac and then continue to work around trip
