In the center of the Berkshires in the town of Pittsfield is the Berkshires Museum. This remarkable museum has a little of everything. One the lower level, they have an aquarium with local and tropical fish and sea life as well as reptiles and amphibians. Journey upstairs to the interactive dinosaur exhibit where kids can dig up fossils. Then move on to explore and learn about birds, nature, rocks and gems, regional areas and climates, and much more. Next, check out the innovation wing that includes a bunch of hands on activities for the kids. Finally, they have an art gallery and a performing arts theater.
