IMAX at Tropicana
With the quality of home TV's and theater systems these days, you may be thinking that it's hardly worth it to go to the movies anymore. But you would be very wrong. An IMAX movie experience is totally worth it! I saw my first movie at the Tropicana's IMAX theater l. It was the The Hobbit. I was impressed with the size of screen and the way the seats were laid out comfortably. I was happy that the screen was not so big that it gave me vertigo, but rather it was user new technology with a smaller, but curved screen to create the gigantic effect. I went back again this year and saw the third installment of the Hobbit, this time I was blown away with their newest digital and 3D technology - way better than before. This quality along with the pleasant and polite staff made for a wonderful movie-going experience that I could never get at home.
