Sea Princes Cruises
Sea Princes Cruises

When coming to the Arcadia National Park area of Maine people tend to go to Bar Harbor which can be crowded and parking could be a nightmare. But, there are also great little villages close by like Northeast Harbor. In Northeast Harbor you will find the relaxing and educational Sea Princess cruises. They depart Northeast Harbor and go around Bear Island Lighthouse. They then venture toward Southwest Harbor before heading north to Somes Sound. We truly enjoyed this part of the journey by Flying Mountain and Valley Cove – a 20 story cliff with a magnificent view carved out by the glaciers. The captain takes you almost close enough to reach out and touch the rock wall because the water is deep right up to the wall. Another thing that set this cruise apart was that the staff are family and inviting hosts with plenty of environmental and historical knowledge. They even have plenty of extra blankets on board to keep you warm and cozy!
