Chesapeake Lights Tours offers several different lighthouse tours near Tilghman Island. Join Captain Mike Richards aboard the M/V Sharps Island, a 36-foot, 30 passenger all weather former Navy special operations vessel that has been upgraded in order to comfortably accommodate her guests. The excursions provide a narrated history of lighthouses and the fragile yet remarkable ecosystem of the bay and intend to accommodate any schedule or interest level. The Great Circle Route is an all day tour that allows you to see 10 lighthouses up close. The Passage is an afternoon tour in which you view 5 lighthouses. The Three Light Tour, as it name indicates, takes you to 3 lighthouses within three hours. All tours depart from Bay Hundred Restaurant and are all pleasurable and worthwhile. The captain is experienced both in seafaring and in the history of the lights. He also offers daily sails on the Lady Patty, a beautifully restored yacht built on Solomon's Island in 1935.
