EcoTarium
At an inexpensive cost the Ecotarium is a great place for hands-on science and natural animal exhibits. Their "cool moves" exhibit is fun for children of any age, including those in their thirties. Another exciting attraction is the animal encounter that shows three times a day with one of their resident animals like a hedgehog, porcupine, or turtle just to name a few. And we can’t wait to see their Mount Washington weather exhibit. Other attractions open year round to make for a great day are the train ride on the CS Huntington or a video at the Planetarium. We saw the Zulu Patrol movie and it was super fun for the little ones. They also have a small adventure zip line and tree canopy tour, which is a great introduction to a child for a world of outdoor adventure and a very low cost. Additionally, at least once a day they have a hands-on craft and science lesson activity. This is great for both the family visitors or for the children there on summer camp.
