Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum in Atlantic City is part of the Ripley Entertainment family of world-wide attractions. One of 31 unique Ripley's Believe It or Not! museums, Ripley's Atlantic City boasts over 400 exhibits in 14 themed galleries. At Ripley's Believe It or Not! you will find interactive exhibits, optical illusions, and genuine artifacts, many of which were part of Robert Ripley's personal collection. From a genuine shrunken human head to a jellybean roulette table, there is something for all ages! The tour is self-guided, so guests can browse through the museum at their own pace. Many new exhibits will be on display for the 2010 season, including the world's smallest production car, several unique pieces of artwork made from recycles materials like cardboard and laundry lint, and the only authentic life mask of Abraham Lincoln, sculpted in 1860! During the month of June, the world famous African Fertility Statues will be making their return to Atlantic City. Over 2000 women claim to have become pregnant shortly after touching the statues. Many have been told by doctors that they would never be able to conceive. The Fertility Statues will be on display in the lobby at Ripley's from June 4 to 29 and it is free to see and touch them - if you dare! Ripley's annual Face Off contest will be held this year on Wednesday August 18th. Perhaps the quirkiest contest in Atlantic City, the annual Face Off contest is a competition to find the person with the funniest facial expression. Contestants compete for prizes and the chance to have their "funny face" immortalized on Ripley's "Face Off Wall of Fame."
