Ventnor Art Museum

n oasis mid-island at 6500 Atlantic Avenue (just south of Atlantic City) is the Ventnor Library and Cultural Center which also contains an art center and a small history museum. There's a very popular Young People's Summer Art Program with daily sessions in the morning. The library offers free internet access and has a lovely children's reading area. Library activities can be found at: www.atlanticlibrary.org and the art center's web page is www.ventnorarts.org. (609) 823-7952. The library is open Monday through Saturday, the art center also has some evening hours. The history museum has limited hours and its best to call ahead. (609)-487-2226.
