Smithville Inn
The Bushar and the Coppola families have brought back traditional cuisine to the small village of Smithville. Setting them apart from many other places nearby is their tremendously talented chef Chris Bellino as well as their welcoming staff. The Smithville Inn is one of Atlantic county's top romantic destinations to enjoy a lake side dinner with your loved ones. You will start off with their fresh bread served with chive butter, cottage cheese, corn relish and apple butter. If you like calamari, we definitely recommend trying it as an appetizer. Also, you must try their amazing French Onion Au Gratin Soup or their England Corn Chowder. For the entrée, Chef Chris has kept the traditional Smithville Inn Pot Pie recipe alive, which if you've never had it before, nows the time to go for it. I also highly recommend the Wasabi Crusted Tuna. Then, absolutely make room for dessert. Mrs Chris Bellino is their pastry chef and I have to say that she makes the best desserts around. I had the most fantastic creamy, silky cheese cake with caramel layered crust in South Jersey and I also really enjoyed the Coconut Almond Tart. Also, Smithville Inn is an excellent location for special occasions and they are Atlantic County's #1 Wedding Planners.
