Lucky Bones Backwater Grill
Lucky Bones Backwater Grill

You don't have to go far over the Garden State Parkway Bridge for a terrific gem that is Lucky Bone Backwater Grill. They bake daily their fresh Forcata bread with their special blend of olive oil and secret spices. Start with their amazing Lobster Bisque that has a nice kick to it or their extremely tender scallops wrapped in bacon, again with that nice kick served up with beet and horseradish sauce on the side. For the seafood lover, you will enjoy their crab and shrimp served over the best Italian Polenta I’ve ever had. For the land lover, they also make an excellent Grilled Cuban Spiced Rubbed Pork Chop served with whipped sweet potatoes. Also, they have Brick oven pizza that we heard great things about and cannot wait to return and try some. And yes it is true that they bake their own homemade desserts. What they are truly famous for is their must have baked fresh daily cheese cakes that change in flavor. You now have two options for eating with Lucky Bones – during a catered dinner cruise aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher or at their bayside location. This is something different from the traditional Victorian service and Dave and his wonderful staff will provide you and your family with an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
