American Helicopter Museum
American Helicopter Museum

The American Helicopter Museum is an amazing place for all ages. When visiting, we recommend you ask the volunteers to first take you to the the theater and show you the videos on how helicopters work. If you have kids there's a specific one with Chipper the Chopper that's great for the kids. Then after the movie, exploring the museum with the knowledge of how helicopter's work is way more fun. We had a blast trying out the stubby helicopter and seeing how we can make the blades turn to control the direction from forward or backwards and sideways to standing still. Many of the copters are open and accessbalible for you to climb inside and pretend. The museum also has a lot of historical new and old military helicopters including on an iconic M.A.S.H. Korean helicopter and display. We highly recommend this museum when in or around Westchester, PA. After seeing chip for the chopper movie then try out the stubby helicopter and you can see the blaze turning that makes the helicopter view forward backwards upside down and keep its torque
