The Gettysburg Battlefield Tour Center
The Gettysburg Battlefield Tour Center is your place to go for a terrific guided ride through historic Gettysburg. They offer two types of tours - one is an enclosed bus that has a National park interpreter and the other is a double-decker bus with an audio tour, which is a little less expensive, but was great for the kids and the bus driver did interject comments and was keen to answering questions. First, you journey throughout the northern part of Gettysburg's National Park battlefield, which was the first day of battle. After a quick intermission or pit stop, you partake on the southern part of the battlefield and relive the second day of battle. Then, onward to my favorite part of the tour, the battle of Little Round Top, where once again you can stretch your legs before driving onto the national cemetery and the new visitor’s center. Your tour ends with a dramatic depiction of Lincoln’s famous address. We recommend you to take the this tour as the first thing you do in Gettysburg, to give you an accurate and solid foundation to begin your visit
