Hershey Pantry
Lunch Review
Just at the village limit of Hershey is the Hershey Pantry. Cindy Hess has one of the most amazing bistros in the village of Hershey. We enjoyed their lunch menu, including very flavorful soups. We suggest you start off with a tantalizing appetizer such as the crab Florentine dip or the potato wrapped shrimp – both are to die for. I tried the grilled turkey cranberry sandwich on their home- made cinnamon bread and I was totally in heaven. My husband fell in love with the grilled tuna steak sandwich. Germans are known for their wonderful desserts and with the name like Hess they live up to that reputation. We all really enjoyed the loaded peanut butter cake, chocolate pie, and also the banana split cake. Make sure you visit the Hershey Pantry for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and you'll go home absolutely satisfied
Dinner Review
For our second trip to the Hershey Pantry we decided to try dinner, but we can attest from our last experience that Cindy Hess has the best soup, sandwiches and desserts around. She added a new item to her entrée menu which is ravioli smothered in a rich and creamy homemade shrimp blush sauce. Even though we were stuffed we decided to try a pie and we went with the extremely decadent Bailey's Irish Cream Pie. The Hershey Pantry is definitely the sweetest place in the sweetest place on earth!
