Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center
Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center

WheatonArts is one of New Jersey's most treasured cultural resources. Located on 65 wooded acres in southern New Jersey, it is home to the Museum of American Glass. The museum houses one of the most comprehensive collections of American glass in the entire world. The Center offers an extraordinary level of personal interaction with professional artists in a warm and inviting environment. In one of the country's first amphitheater-style hot glass studios, professional artists demonstrate a variety of glassmaking techniques daily. Artist demonstrations in pottery, flameworking and woodcarving can be seen throughout the day. The Down Jersey Folklife Center presents special exhibits, programs and performances about the culture and tradition of major heritage communities that have settled in southern New Jersey. Visitors enjoy a pleasurable and unique shopping experience in the award winning museum stores. It is free to shop and stroll (except during outdoor special events).
