Please Touch Museum
Please Touch Museum

The new Please Touch Museum is now located in Fairmont Park on the west side of the Schuylkill River. They converted and restored the original Art Museum (the one that Rocky didn’t run up) that was built for the World Fair during the Centennial Celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The building is one of the last remaining of its kind and within the museum is a restored model of the World Fair. The museum is placed into its original structure, maintaining the old fashioned charm of the 19th Century. During your visit, you will agree that the staff are all very friendly an attentive. All areas are hands on and educational for children of any age. Everything was amazing from a refurbished carousel to the original "Capitan Noah TV Set” and full size Statue of Liberty including arms and torch made of toys. Out of all the museum areas that I and my children liked the most was the “Flight of Fancy,” where kids can do aerobic activity to activate different exhibits. Play, learn and celebrate your children at the totally awesome Please Touch Museum.
