Dana is the fourth generation of Restaurateur in St. Mary’s County. Over the last 15 years we've seen her go from her dad’s place across the street now to her own famous place - DB McMillans. This is one of the best Irish Pubs we’ve reviewed, and definitely the best in Maryland. We recommend you try the fresh corned beef and cabbage or the Reuben. Their “Boxty,” Irish cheesy potato wraps, are outstanding. (They also make a very good steak as well) We liked the one with steak and onions that came with a nice green salad on the side. Like all good Irish Pubs they have very good European imported beer. While enjoying a good beer and some exceptional pub food and appetizers, you can also listen to a live Irish bands from Tuesday thru Saturday. You must try their flavorful whiskey wings, their amazing chili, their fresh crab balls, or their tender fried calamari. Then make room for dessert because Dana’s a whiz with different types of cakes. The Irish Guinness Cake, Thin Mint Cheesecake or Lemon Cherry Truffles make for a perfect ending to a perfect meal.
