Laurrapin Grille's
Well Bruce and Pat have done it again by opening their gourmet restaurant the Laurrapin Grille's. If you thought the food they serve in their deli was good, then venture up the stairs, where you will fall in love with the excellent food, entertainment and ambiance. Start off with their homemade daily soup or try their perfectly blended flavorful gazpacho. Then, you cannot go wrong with the crab cakes, either as an appetizer or for your entrée. For the Italian lover in you, try their fried eggplant with the best marinara sauce in northern Maryland. It’s served with goat cheese and spinach which adds variation to the common dish. If its steak you crave, definitely go with the tender filet mignon wrapped in bacon and served with a glaze sauce. Their lamb shank osso bocco is also something to fall in love with. My husband and I have eaten here many times and we find that their desserts are unsurpassable. The “Baked Banana “with chocolate or the ‘Cheesecake Zango” fried in a tortilla filled with raspberries, both ala mode, are certainly worth the wait. They also make a mean crème brule at the Larrapin, Havre de Grace’s premier grill.
