Red's Jersey Mex
Don't judge a book by its cover. We love finding these places who don't spend a fortune on glitz and glamour, but the food that they make is wonderful. In the heart of Ocean City is Red's Jersey Mex Cafe. First, we have to say that David and his staff are amazing people. Start off with their freshly fried tortilla chips and homemade salsa or guacamole, or anything that involves the nachos. They have the best hot wings in Cape May County that we have tried. In season try their homemade jalapeno corn cake or their outstanding shrimp bisque. We also had a chance to try their chicken jerk salad and the Super Burrito - both were excellent. But you cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. We cannot wait to come back for their burgers and crab cakes.
