Riverwinds Restaurant
One of the most elegant and picturesque restaurants in South Jersey is River Winds on the Delaware River. Relax with the American flag in the background as planes come and go from the City of Brotherly Love. You would think that this type of tranquil setting would come with an extravagant price, but believe me they are extremely reasonable for the quality food and ambience. The chef has created a lunch, dinner and happy hour menu to satisfy anyone likes. For first time guests we recommend a dinner from their “House Selection,” which includes your choice of entree and dessert. They are famous for their steaks and one of the selections is a petite filet mignon that out of this world. They also have amazing seafood entrées. Try the grilled swordfish from their “House Selection.” As an appetizer, if you love seafood then start off with their “Crispy Calamari” or their “Asian Tuna.” Then you'll have to come back to try one of the chef's creations which again are at a very great rate and equally amazing. The chef also has a set rate daily special that is out of this world. A lot of times I like to treat myself to lunch and for just a few dollars more than fast food, I can get a freshly prepared, tastier lunch such as seafood, pasta, chicken or a burger. Sometimes I stay a little later and meet a client after golfing and enjoy their Happy Hour appetizer bar menu. It's great food at a great price. So if it's in the summer while dining outdoors or in the winter enjoying the picture window view of the planes coming in over the Delaware, you will love the service, the staff, and the food at River Winds.
