Dinosaur State Park and Arboretum

The Dinosaur State Park in Connecticut is a great place to learn about the geological aspect of the local dinosaurs while spending time exploring the many nature trails. For a small fee you can gain access to th museum and view the famous fossilized tracks. How were these tracks preserved for over a hundred million years? An amazing video, hands-on displays and knowledgeable staff will answer this question and many more for you. The exhibits also explain and depict the Great Pangea continent and how different geological events left us with these spectacular tracks in the Connecticut river valley. Additionally, if you go to their website and bring your own material from May-October, you can make a paster cast of a dinosaur track to take home.
