New Jersey State Police Museum and Learning Center. Established in 1982, the Museum is dedicated to preserving the memories and traditions of those troopers who have served throughout the history of the New Jersey State Police. Exhibits of photographs, videos and artifacts show the evolution of the State Police from its founding in 1921 to the present. The Museum and Learning Center is also the largest repository of physical evidence and documents from the Lindbergh Kidnapping Case. Displays of physical evidence presented at the “Trial of the Century” as well as over 200,000 pages of documents are available to the public. The Museum is open to the public Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm; Saturdays and group tours by appointment.
