National Watch & Clock Museum
National Watch & Clock Museum

The National Clock and Watch Museum in Pennsylvania is a great little unique place to view the intricacy and history of time pieces from all over the world. You can start by checking out their display of all different types of time pieces, from water, to analog to digital. They also have a very large collection of beautifully crafted grandfather clocks, wrist watches, pocket watches and large clock motors like the one you would see in Big Ben. Amazingly most of their pieces are still ticking. You will also see engraving and manufacturing equipment on display. Another unique piece is an interactive clock made years ago by a local man that is still running. Shows on the Hours. This is a great place to visit that's different from many other museums we have been to. They offer a combination pass to the Turkey Hill Experience which I recommend doing. Both attractions are definitely worth the trip to Columbia, Pennsylvania on the eastern bank of the Susquehanna River during your next visit to Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Hershey and/or Lancaster.
